Here at the Pugsville administrative offices, we get a lot of email, phone calls, and letters asking for a number of things from Argus. As you can imagine, a monarch’s time is valuable, and not every request is either up to his standards or sparks his interest. As a general guide, we request all talent search agencies, movie producers, television production companies, and members of the press consult this list of Frequently Asked Questions prior to requesting an appearance from Argus. Photo Shoots: Argus has never been available for general advertising and/or magazine photography shoots. However, he will consider high-fashion photography on a case-by--case basis. Please be aware that he refuses to work with anyone other than a confirmed “super model”.
Guest Appearances: The only guest appearances currently under consideration are Ivy League university commencement speeches.
Television or Radio Interviews: Members of the broadcast media interested in an interview with Argus must be aware that no interviews will be scheduled with less than 30 days notice. Additionally, all questions must be submitted in advance, along with your interview request, for review. Interviews are not be granted for “entertainment magazine” style television shows.
Newspaper or Magazine Interviews: Only national publications are being considered at this time, and your interview request must confirm to the same guidelines as those for television and radio.
Television Acting Appearances: Argus is not considering any appearances for television commercials or shows. However, he may consider prominent cameo roles (as himself) in miniseries he deems to be of sufficient production values. Please follow the motion picture role submission guidelines.
Motion Picture Acting Appearances: Movie roles are being considered and should be submitted with the following: 1) full final script, 2) confirmed and signed director’s name, 3) production company name, 4) confirmed production budget, 5) your proposal for his on site trailer, 6) list of location shoots, 7) the name of Argus’ location chef, and 8) the distribution and advertising plan for the finished picture. Please be aware that Argus insists on full veto of the script, which extends to any alterations of any character, scene, or other portion the entire script.
